Web Application Basic Setup

If you are a first time user of SGS Web Applications (CEET, FLEET, PROCESS ACCESS, …) on this computer, you must install the Web Application Basic Setup Package before you can run either of these applications on this computer. This Basic Setup is required to be performed one time only per computer.

There are a few requirements for installing the Basic Setup as well as for running the Web Applications. Please read the requirements below on the page carefully before you begin installing the Basic Setup.

Requirements For Installing & Running Process Access

IE Version & Security Settings Requirements

  1. ·Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher is required.
  2. ·IE security settings are required to be set to Medium.
  3. ·The security setting for Download unsigned ActiveX controls is required to be set to Prompt or Enabled. The Prompt is recommended for security reasons.

You can reach the IE security settings by going through  Tools | Internet Options… | Security | Custom Level … | and you will see the Security Settings Form (see the picture below). Then change the security settings as required and click OK

Windows Update Requirements

Security Update named Q323172 is required to enable the CA certificate installation.

Basic Setup Installation

Windows 98 users

Windows 2000/XP users

For Windows 2000 and Windows XP users, please click here to install the Basic Setup. Please notice that you are required to have at least Power User’s privilege to install the Basic Setup and run the Web Applications.
