GEOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS
Through our worldwide network of laboratories and preparation facilities, SGS can prepare, ship and analyze essentially any matrix to assist in the discovery and definition of any ore deposit.
METALLURGICAL SERVICES
SGS Minerals Services can provide metallurgical testing and consulting services for flowsheet development and optimization, including:
- Bench-scale testing such as:
- Beneficiation tests: flotation, gravity concentration, SX-EW
- Grinding studies
- Large-scale and pilot-scale tests for full scale-up and feasibility studies
- In-Plant audits and optimization studies, to ensure you are getting the most from the ore
LABORATORY SET-UP AND OPERATION
SGS operates over 50 laboratories worldwide on mine sites. For example:
- Grade/process control laboratory at the zinc mines Atacocha and Milpo (Peru), Skorpion, Namibia
- 7 other (non-gold) mines in South America and Australia
- 34 Gold mines in South America, Africa, Canada, Australia and Europe
- 22 coal mines and coke/steel mills in the United States
Setup and operation of the ore/process control laboratory by SGS insures:
